Frank T. Caprio, Managing Director

Frank Caprio joined Chatham in 2011 and maintains offices in Atlanta, GA and Providence, RI. Mr. Caprio has 25 years of experience at the intersection of investments, government, and law. He served in elective office for 20 years on the state level in Rhode Island, including his service as Treasurer of Rhode Island. While leading investment decisions as Chairman of the State's $8 billion pension from 2007 – 2010, the RI fund was a national performance leader. It outperformed the endowments of Harvard, Yale, and leading state pension funds from California, Massachusetts, and many others. Mr. Caprio received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University, where he was the captain of its baseball team and an All-Ivy League football player. He additionally earned a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
